Consultation Group: Weaving Shamanic Perspectives into the Therapeutic Process
This group meets twice per month as part of a four-month series in both the Spring and Fall (February through May and September through December) offering clinicians a consistent space in which to anchor as you deepen your own connection to body and soul as resource, while also exploring the use of the elements (fire, air, earth, water), plant and animal energies, and ancestral/lineage influences as archetypal conduits for deep and integrative change as part of the therapeutic process. Neurobiological and sensory processing underpinnings will also be discussed to help ground this strongly right-brain work in a more left-brain framework. Space will also be available for other inquiries related to private practice development, integrative synthesis of your own theoretical interests, and case consultation.
Two 2017 Fall Series are being offered:
Series One: 7 meetings on Tuesdays (9/5, 9/19, 10/3, 10/17, 11/7, 11/21 & 12/5) from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at The Healing House – THIS GROUP IS CURRENTLY FULL.
Series Two: 7 meetings on Fridays (9/8, 9/22, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 11/17 & 12/1) from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at The Healing House

One-on-one consultation sessions are available for those clinicians and health and wellness professionals who are interested in deepening their theoretical and experiential knowledge of working with high sensitivity, empathic/intuitive gifts, and sensory processing issues by weaving together physiological, psycho-emotional and energetic constructs to better support these phenomena in a more whole-being way.
Investment*: $140 per 50 min consult
*A discount rate of $105 is available for any currently volunteering clinicians at Capital Area Counseling
